I glimpsed the joy beyond the curtain that was mine for the taking, and in that glorious, incredible moment, something in my heart shifted.
There is nothing in the world like worship to break the power of the Enemy.
Sometimes our most vulnerable tired comes after we have stood on a mountain of success and seen God’s power.
But faith is not measured by our ability to manipulate God to get what we want. It is measured by our willingness to submit to what He wants.
Often what we need to hear most is reflected back to us through the journey of someone else.
The same God who led David beside still waters, and who prepared a table for him in the midst of his trial, that God is alive and well today.
I couldn’t figure out how I would deal with it. I didn’t have a clue how to even start trying.
Your honesty and freedom is giving them the permission to be honest and free as well.
Our safest place is at the table of grace—a place we’ve not earned but that Christ has earned for us.
He speaks a new word, and avails a new work. My daughter. My son. And the work of our healing begins.
Sometimes, for a season, all we can expect from ourselves is to sit on the floor and breathe.
God invites our questions and pleadings rather than our despair and silence.
He is in the business of redeeming every part of our lives so that we will be made truly free, and He wants us to be open and surrender to this transformation.
Let’s talk — I’d love for us to get to know each other…
