Friend, on the Way, you can see it today with the eyes of your heart, at the beginning of Holy Week, how Jesus came in the most unexpected way, a king atop a lowly donkey, amidst the shouts of Hosanna – God save us, Hosanna, God save us.
A triumphal entry on Sunday, followed by a troubled exit out of the temple on the Monday. That is where the Monday of Holy Week found Jesus – and where this moment finds us.
