The thing about the love of God is that its depth and purity is so beyond our comprehension that it can be a lifelong process to get to a place where we understand that He loves us anyway.
…eventually, you’ll hear Him. Rejoicing over you with singing and proclaiming His name over you.
This is the heart of the matter: God can do anything.
Christmas comes for our grief. Christmas comes for the sadness we can’t speak out loud, Christmas comes to crush all our dark, Christmas comes for our wounded ache.
I wish I had known this far, far sooner.
The Lord taught me how to sigh in pain, how to weep in gladness, and how to trust during days of hope deferred.
