His love for you is oceanic, His welcome of you is enthusiastic, His purpose through you is cosmic, His commitment to you is astronomic, and His hope in you is meteoric.
But faith is not measured by our ability to manipulate God to get what we want. It is measured by our willingness to submit to what He wants.
A flourishing human existence finds its source of power in God and is demonstrated through a life of love.
Nothing is beyond God’s capacity, ability, or desire to redeem, restore, and reconcile.
And the beauty of Christianity is that what dies — will rise.
You are able to walk Jesus strong because of who He is and what He has already done.
If the blogosphere is a library, then perhaps what is needed is not so much deterrents to voices within the blogosphere — but rather thoughtful discernment in the readers?
Only when you go to the Cross first & hear no condemnation, can you go to the mirror and see deep transformation.
The only call on a Christian is to build every platform into the shape of an altar, to shape every platform into the form of sacrificial service.
What seems like the discouraging ashes of your hopes — can be the nurturing ashes of your growth.
Christ didn’t degrade women in His talk, but He made women heroes in His stories.
The People of the Cross repent of loving our agendas more — instead of interrupting our agendas because we love Jesus most.
We get to be like Jesus to people as they march to their own drum. And it’s only Jesus who gets to change drums.
