When the church opens its arms to change the world’s story — this is what changes the story of the church in the world.
We need to break the ladders and go lower…that means destroying platforms and living hidden lives that have dirt underneath our fingernails, as opposed to everyone striving to get behind a microphone.
Grace isn’t what makes us feel good: grace is all that makes us more like Jesus.
When you find yourself in the real deep end — that’s when you know He’s real.
Nothing about my life is about me; it’s about who He needs me to be.

Sometimes the proof that God exists is that lightning doesn’t strike but quiet grace rains straight down.
Can I believe being thankful in all circumstances is important because it acknowledges that during the dark times of change, God is still covering me with His hand?
He invites us to experience His kingdom power mightily at work in us, through us, and all around us.
I thank God that as I lift up my foot to step into the next season, He is graciously placing it down exactly where it should fall.
Christ ascended to the stage of heaven but He lives His moments now within the stairwell of the human heart.
When the sun slides down windows, beckoning us to come out now, you have time now to come out and be — it’s like hope and grace begin again with…
Maybe we need to remember that though we were wounded, we have been healed, and our scars are proof of a God redeeming all the broken things.
So, yeah — if there were gardening police, I’d be on death row. Lock me up and throw away the key. You know – when your garden hits a midsummer…
