God’s Word is the only thing that never falls apart — and holds us when we are falling apart.
Sometimes it’s hard to look love square in the eye and accept the acceptance. Is this why we turn from God?
His love for you is oceanic, His welcome of you is enthusiastic, His purpose through you is cosmic, His commitment to you is astronomic, and His hope in you is meteoric.
The more you let yourself compete and compare, the more you forget your own calling.
When you give when you don’t have a lot — God gives you a lot more of Himself.
The greatest freedom we have is the freedom to come right to God at any time.
If charity begins at home, why do we sometimes struggle to show charity in our own homes, with the people closest to us?
You are able to walk Jesus strong because of who He is and what He has already done.
Often what we need to hear most is reflected back to us through the journey of someone else.
And wars are won by winning the battle for hope.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is our only hope and security of enduring approval, of eternal validation, of spiritual fulfillment, of eternal joy.
How we open up our calendars and our doors and our schedules and our agendas and make room for people, because this is how we make room for God.
The wise are the hidden who hold out for heaven — and the applause that comes from God.
Habits are small gears that leverage your life — and the habit of hope can resuscitate anything.
