ready for some happy?
And the Unexpected that happens at Harvard
okay — no one expected a 3 year old to do this?
He’s never had any formal piano training. He’s homeless. And he sat down & just made this up?
…and just how do pandas take their medicine?
make a literal nest? The kids loved this: anyone else want in?
“Now the first thing I have to do is find myself…”
This is Profound. And beautiful. And worth watching again & again.
3 Countries. 3 Minutes. Your free ticket to travel the world right now. It’s the sky at the end.
so my dad & the boys chuckled through this 3 times. Because Thank a Farmer
And there was a kid here who thought this was hilarious: Dogs mid-shake?
NASA recorded sound in space — and it’s absolutely chilling
and these? Winning Wildlife Photographers of the Year –
what happens when an entire town flash mobs with this unexpected?
Boys cracked up over this one: a competition like no other?
how about a (literal) bird’s eye view of Paris? It will feel like you’re flying.
Come Exhale This Christmas? (!!)
So our family talked. We prayed.
And we wondered if there was some crazy, beautiful, unforgettable way to make a space to feel the wonder of Christmas again? An evening that was an island of relief & grace & beautiful things —
An evening that invites you into the essence of Christmas? That invites you to become the essence of Christmas?
Come into the warmth this Christmas with two of the most creatively breathtaking artists I know, 2014 Dove Award Winner for Best New Artist of the Year, Ellie Holcomb, and internationally renowned spoken word poet, Amena Brown — and this farm girl with one or two of her farm girls — & we’ll circle around for a singular Christmas evening to long be remembered…
Because it whispered and lit with the warming gift we want most: Jesus.
Amena, Ellie & us farm girls, we’re so excited! Do we get to exhale with you?

… we watched this in gaping awe. It’s all God.
And there is His promises in the midst of any storm. Promise.
Post from these parts:
(A little audio post from the farm)
that’s all: just slack-jawed
Hey Soul? You know that voice in your head that says you’re not good enough, smart enough, fast enough, creative enough?
You just need to turn to it & say it real clear: ENOUGH.
Enough already — because you’re enough already in Him, & in Him, you’ve got enough grace for impossible things today, enough strength to do the hard things today, enough wisdom to know the way that’s meant just for you & no one else.
So just go ahead & let it play like the perfect little number in your head today:
“He makes me more than enough for this, gives me more than enough for this, & we already know how this race works out, it’s already done, finished, there was more. than. enough. & it’s WON”
You can count on it as sure & gentle as your own heartbeat today:
Jesus doesn’t yell at you like a Life Sergeant: “Come on, Get it done.”
Jesus comes beside you like a Life Savior & whispers: “Come to Me, It Is Finished.”
That’s all for this weekend, friends.
Go slow. Be God-struck. Grant grace. Live Truth.
Give Thanks. Love well. Re – joy, re- joy, ‘re- joys’ again
