Come early, we gather, Bibles and pencils, journals and blankets. We curl and snuggle, and quietly read together. We ponder, we underline, we meditate.
And the gratitude journal circles.
We leave grace marks, big scrawls, quick scratches.
The day begins. In my “Drawer for it All” journal, I scratch down lists and menus, tasks and reminders, snippets of thoughts, fragments of beauty. I write down a word from His Word. To remember, and hold close, as I go about. And as the day unfurls, I count the blessings, jotting them down just as they bloom.
Traces of grace.
